Lets Get Started - You Mean I Get Paid?
A
lot of people come into this industry with no clear idea on how the system
works. All they know is that they are going to make lots of money without
having much idea of the finer points of how it all fits together so here
is a very simple outline of how a newbie makes money in this industry.
To
get started in this industry you will need a domain name, some content,
a host and a sponsor. All those terms will be explained later but for
now let's just look at how you mix all those together, feed the mix to
the surfer and make money out of him. Yes, you can make money but it isn't
easy.
The
next step is to go to your sponsor and decided which of his sites you
are going to promote. When you have decided which site to promote you
need to download some of the sponsors promotional tools for that particular
site; things like banners and text links. You will also need to get your
linking codes. Linking codes are text strings that you place in the URL's
for your sponsor and they enable your sponsor to identify you as the person
who has referred the surfer who we hope actually does sign up. Without
the linking code to track the sign-ups you won't get paid.
Now
it is time to actually build the site. It can be a free site, an SE-Feeder site,
or a TGP gallery, the choice is yours but we would recommend that newbies
start out with a basic free site. Once the site is built you upload it
to your host and then submit the site to link lists or TGPs. Surfers visit
your site and if they are attracted by your advertising then they will
visit your sponsor and possibly sign up.
At
the end of each pay period your sponsor will send you a check for the
commission on the sales that you have made. Some sponsors have set limits
that have to be reached before they send you a check and if you do not
reach that limit in a pay period they carry your commission over until
such time as you do achieve the minimum.
So now you have the
general idea of how it all works, lets go move forward to another key important
part of your adult internet lifestyle. Message Board Posting, and proper etiquette
when visiting them and posting..
